The Copper Country Junior Hockey Association's mission is to provide Copper Country youth hockey players the opportunity to develop to their highest individual potential by providing a safe, fun, and competitive atmosphere that fosters skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
CCJHA Home Ice
Dee Stadium, Houghton, MI
Historic Dee Stadium is located on the waterfront in downtown Houghton. It is regarded as the birthplace of professional hockey, and is the seventh oldest indoor ice rink in the world.The ice surface is open from October through April and is home to Copper Country Junior Hockey, Houghton High School and the Portage Lake Pioneers.
HoCo Arena, Hancock, MI
The HoCo Arena is a public-owned facility providing the area community with recreational and educational opportunities. It is the home ice for the Hancock High School Bulldogs. It also hosts the Copper Country Junior Hockey Association and Copper Country Old-timer's, along with providing open public skating.
