Harter Auto Team wins State Title

Livonia, Mich. - It's been 25 years since a CCJHA girls team has won a Tier III state title. On Sunday, March 16, the CCJHA Harter Auto Supply Girls 19U team achieved just that in a 2-0 victory over the Detroit Bulldogs. Defenseman Chloe Serafin scored the game-winning goal  at 1:20 the first period in an impressive unassisted effort. Chloe Mikus scored the insurance goal at 0:43 in the third period, assisted by Sophia Blake and Jordan Holombo. Goaltender Naudia Meneguzzo kept the team in the game by stopping 16 of 16 shots. 

Harter Auto was undefeated for the weekend. Pool play scores were 10-2 vs Grand Rapids; 4-1 vs Livonia Knights; 5-3 vs Detroit Bulldogs, and 4-2 vs Flint Phoenix.
